The Orlando Utilities Commission wanted to redesign the electrical duct bank system in downtown Orlando, but the redesign was very complex because of the urban nature of the region and the Interstate 4 and the State Road 408 Interchange, two major limited access highways in central Florida.

The task of locating and identifying underground facilities was assigned to a SUE consultant.

The investigation successfully identified not only known facilities but several utilities for which records were not provided.

The design and construction processes were performed and executed smoothly.
